Sabine Edelsbacher (vocals) and Lanvall (grand piano, acoustic guitars and other string instruments, percussion) – both of Linz, Austria-based symphonic metal group Edenbridge – launched acoustic project Voiciano, revealing this development on January 20th, 2014.
The idea for Voiciano was spawned by an Edenbridge promotional acoustic show in 2010, the pair performing a ten-minute showcase at the 1000 Years Hanoi Festival in Vietnam, the set consisting of three tracks.
Debut full-length album Everflow was issued on June 25th, 2014, and made exclusively available through Edenbridge’s webstore. The effort featured acoustic instruments exclusively, mainly the grand piano. Other instruments like acoustic guitars, hammered dulcimer, kacapi, bouzouki, mandolin, saz and diverse percussion instruments were also included. The string orchestra Junge Philharmonie Freistadt appeared, in addition.
Everflow’s cover artwork was designed by Günter Leitenbauer.
