LUCA TURILLI’S RHAPSODY Issue Lyric Video For Re-Recorded Version Of ‘Il Cigno Nero’ Track

Italian symphonic metal group Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody issued Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus on June 19th, 2015 in Europe through Nuclear Blast Records. The label scheduled North American release for the 30th.
The outing was composed over a seven-month period by guitarist and namesake Luca Turilli, who produced once again, production taking three months in all. Recording and mixing took place at Backyard Studios in Kempten, Germany, the latter taking 50 days. Mastering was handled by Christoph Strickel at MSM studios in Munich, Germany, meanwhile.
Guest musicians include Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Dan Lucas (Karo) and David Readman (Pink Cream 69). Scheepers’ contribution appears on the record’s digipak version, that format including a rendition of ‘Thundersteel’. Written by Riot, the original rendition is featured on the March 1988 album of the same name.
Cover artwork duties fell to Stefan Heilemann.

Official lyric videos were created for the songs ‘Rosenkreuz (The Rose And The Cross)’, ‘Prometheus’, and ‘Il Cigno Nero’.
‘Il Cigno Nero’’s version, dubbed “reloaded”, was re-recorded with rhythmic guitar parts, a fresh bass arrangement, and additional orchestrations. Remixing was handled by Sebastian Roeder and Luca Turilli at Backyard Studios remastering by Christoph Stickel at MSM Studios. ‘Il Cigno Nero’’s lyric video can be viewed below.
