THE 69 EYES Release 12th Studio Album ‘West End’

Helsinki, Finland-based gothic metal group The 69 Eyes issued 12th full-length studio album West End on September 13th, 2019 through Nuclear Blast Records. The digipak CD version of West End included a bonus Blu-ray, featuring a special band documentary directed by Ville Lipiäinen.
Jyrki 69 commented: “The title West End evokes a dark image – when something dies, something new comes up and we all have to change in order to stay alive. I feel like this planet is on some turning point. The end of the western world is near and the question is: What is happening when the west ends? The title has multiple meanings for us, but be assured it has definitely nothing to do with The Pet Shop Boys or London.”
West End included a number of guest vocalists, including Cradle Of Filth’s Dani Filth, Wednesday 13 and Beastö Blancö’s Calico Cooper.

Directed by Vicente Cordero, music videos were released for the tracks ‘27 & Done’ and ‘Two Horns Up’. In addition, official lyric videos were created for the songs ‘Cheyenna’, ‘Black Orchid’, ‘Burn Witch Burn’, ‘The Last House On The Left’, ‘Hell Has No Mercy’ and ‘Change’. All eight clips can also be viewed below.
Eleventh studio record Universal Monsters was released in April 2016.
