DEATHRASH
Faces Of Death (1986)
|
Deathrash come from New Jersey and feature ex-Whiplash bassist Pat Burns. In fact, Whiplash drummer Tony J. Scaglione also makes a guest appearance on this demo, entitled Faces Of Death.
The three-song tape contains ‘Lock Jaw’, ‘Buried Alive’ and ‘Blood For Blood’, which are all delivered in a competent fashion with plenty of tight power riffing and nifty soloing.
The production is generally good by demo tape standards, but unfortunately the whole performance is let down by weak vocals. A tightening up in this department is certainly required before Deathrash can hope to start attracting serious record label attention. Still, the demo can be recommended.
