ACCEPT Release 16th Studio Album ‘Too Mean To Die’

German / American heavy metal band Accept issued 16th full-length studio album Too Mean To Die on January 29th, 2021 through Nuclear Blast Records.

Guitarist and founding member Wolf Hoffmann commented: “We decided to not let ourselves be overly influenced by current events. Fans will get a hard, direct and uncompromising metal album, but of course accompanied with a wink: we are too mean to die! Weeds do not go away! Accept do not let themselves get down!”

Too Mean To Die was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with mixing duties once again handled by Andy Sneap at Backstage Recording Studio in Derbyshire, England.

Inaugural single ‘The Undertaker’ was released on October 2nd, 2020. The two-track affair also featured a previously unreleased live version of ‘Life’s A Bitch’ recorded in Oulu, Finland in 2019. ‘The Undertaker’ was released digitally as well as via limited edition seven-inch vinyl in three colour variants (gold and white-marbled for Europe, and red for the United States), each limited to 300 copies.

A music video was filmed for the track ‘The Undertaker’, while a visualiser video was released for the song ‘Zombie Apocalypse’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the title track. All three clips can be viewed below.

Fifteenth studio record The Rise Of Chaos was released in August 2017 via Nuclear Blast.
