AC/DC Issue Trailer Video For Rescheduled US Tour Dates
June 2nd, 2016
Australian hard rock group AC/DC began the United States leg of their Rock Or Bust world tour on February 2nd, 2016. However, the band were forced to postpone the remaining ten dates of the tour after Brian Johnson, AC/DC’s vocalist since 1980, was advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.
In a statement issued on April 16th, AC/DC confirmed that Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose would join the band as guest singer on the European leg and rescheduled U.S. dates later in 2016. “AC/DC band members would like to thank Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years. We wish him all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures. As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to stop touring and save his hearing. We are dedicated to fulfilling the remainder of our touring commitments to everyone that has supported us over the years, and are fortunate that Axl Rose has kindly offered his support to help us fulfill this commitment.”
