AMON AMARTH Part Ways With Drummer Fredrik Andersson

German metal group Stockholm, Sweden-based melodic death metal group Amon Amarth parted ways with drummer Fredrik Andersson following a 17-year tenure, revealing this development on March 19th, 2015.
Amon Amarth issued the following statement: “Fredrik has been an important part of Amon Amarth’s development since he joined the band in 1998 and we wish him all the best for the future. We are currently in the process of writing the new album, but at the moment there is no replacement for him.”
Ninth studio record Deceiver Of The Gods was released in June 2013.
