ARTILLERY Release ‘The Last Journey’ Single

Danish thrash metal band Artillery issued seven-inch vinyl single ‘The Last Journey’ on October 16th, 2020 through Metal Blade Records. The B-side features a cover of Metallica’s ‘Trapped Under Ice’. The limited edition outing was made available in the following coloured variants: black vinyl (300 copies), blue vinyl (200 copies), and yellow vinyl (100 copies).
Both ‘The Last Journey’ and the rendition of Metallica’s ‘Trapped Under Ice’ can be streamed below.
‘The Last Journey’ was written as a tribute to former guitarist and co-founder Morten Stützer. Morten, the brother of Artillery guitarist Michael Stützer, passed away on October 2nd, 2019 at the age of 52.
Contributing guest vocals on ‘The Last Journey’ are former Artillery singers Flemming Rønsdorf and Søren Adamsen.

Both songs were recorded at Medley Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark with producer and longtime Artillery collaborator Søren Andersen.
