ASKING ALEXANDRIA: ‘The Black’ Album Enters US Top Ten

The Black – the fourth full-length studio album from English metalcore group Asking Alexandria – has shifted roughly 30,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week of release, of which 28,000 were pure album sales. The effort charted at position 9 on the Billboard 200.
Asking Alexandria issued fourth full-length studio album The Black on March 25th, 2016 through Sumerian Records.
The outing marks the first Asking Alexandria effort to feature vocalist Denis Shaforostov, formerly of Ukrainian metalcore band Make Me Famous. Vocalist Danny Worsnop exited the ranks in January 2015.

Music videos were filmed for the title track as well as ‘I Won’t Give In’. Directed by Ramon Boutviseth, a music video was also filmed for the song ‘Let It Sleep’.
Third studio record From Death To Destiny was released in August 2013.
