New England-based extreme metal band Aversed independently issue debut full-length studio album Impermanent on March 19th, 2021.
Impermanent can be streamed in its entirety via YouTube below.
“The album Impermanent presents our own struggles with anxiety and depression reflected on the backdrop of environmental collapse on Earth,” commented vocalist Haydee Irizarry. “We present this inevitable human destruction as a chance for a beautiful rebirth, as a chance for new life to flourish, which I think is a good metaphor for the healing mind as well.”
Impermanent was produced and engineered by Alden Marchand, with additional engineering by Ehren Hill at Iron Hill Studios. Audio editing was handled by Eric Alper, Erik Thoresen, and Alden Marchand, meanwhile. Orchestrations were composed and arranged by Patrick Logue, while sound design was the responsibility of Alexander Barnhart. Cello and cello arranging was done by Eden Rayz, while cello engineering was overseen by Miranda Serra at Zippah Studios in Brighton, Boston, Massachusetts.
Impermanent was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson at The Grid Productions in Montréal, Quebec, Canada.
Cover artwork duties fell to Adam Burke at Nightjar Illustration, with calligraphy by Ji-in Jeong and graphic design by Sean Buckley at Shjon Thomas Art.
