BIBEAU Unveil Music Video For ‘Mark This’ Single
April 27th, 2016
Whitehouse, Texas-based progressive metal band Bibeau have filmed a music video for their forthcoming single ‘Mark This’. Produced and directed by Justin Mosley at Dark Letter Entertainment and starring actress Courtney Bridges, the clip can be viewed below.
Bibeau frontman Drew Theiring commented: “We wanted to shoot the video with a heavy emphasis on our performance. At the same time, everyone in the band knew we needed to balance the five plus minute song with a narrative that reflected a potential post apocalyptic vision of the future. We also wanted a video that incorporates some of the elements from our artwork, band logo and live show written into the video treatment’s storyline.”
Guitarist Robin Bibeau added: “We were also hoping to convey the look, feel and flow of some of the classic, timeless rock and metal videos from the height of MTV’s popularity. At the end of the day, we were all confident that Justin Mosley was our guy to help us pay homage to the classic video era.”
Justin Mosley, who produced and directed the 2013 western horror movie The Devil’s Deal, said: “These guys were super professional and a group of seriously bad ass musicians. I also had the pleasure of working with a talented actress Courtney Bridges. Everyone worked tirelessly to make a great finished product and I’m so excited for everyone to see it.”
Bibeau issue ‘Mark This’ as a digital download single on May 3rd, 2016 through Fade To Silence Records. ‘Mark This’ was produced by Luke Garrigus at Blackroom Studios in Georgetown, Texas.
Bibeau’s line-up is as follows;
Drew Theiring (vocals)
Robin Bibeau (guitar)
Alan Benek Hernández (guitar)
Chris Ray (bass)
Peyton Bibeau (drums)
