CANNIBAL CORPSE Release Debut Full-Length ‘Eaten Back To Life’
August 1990
Buffalo, New York-based death metal group Cannibal Corpse issued debut full-length album Eaten Back To Life in August 1990 through Metal Blade Records. The outing was cut at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida, Scott Burns handling production and engineering duties. Vincent Locke designed the front cover artwork, the band logo devised by vocalist Chris Barnes. Album photography was overseen by Mike Mulley, Brian Ames supervising graphic design. Deicide vocalist Glen Benton and Incubus (renamed Opprobrium in 2000) vocalist Francis H. Howard lent backing vocals to the tracks ‘Mangled’ and ‘A Skull Full Of Maggots’.
