CRYSTAL VIPER Release Seventh Studio Album ‘Tales Of Fire And Ice’
November 22nd, 2019

Polish heavy metal band Crystal Viper issued seventh full-length studio album Tales Of Fire And Ice on November 22nd, 2019 through AFM Records.

Tales Of Fire And Ice was made available as a limited edition 12-inch vinyl LP, CD and digital album. The CD and digital version of the album included a bonus track in the shape of a Dokken cover ‘Dream Warriors’ (originally recorded for the 1987 movie A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors), while the vinyl LP version included Crystal Viper’s rendition of the I-Ten song ‘Alone’, mainly known as the power ballad recorded by Heart in 1987.

Cover artwork was once again created by Andreas Marschall.

Vocalist Marta Gabriel commented: “We worked with Andreas Marschall for the third time, because as they say, you don’t change the winning team. A lot of people asked us if the album is related to Game Of Thrones – it is not. The title of the album refers to titles of new songs, and titles of new songs are being represented on the artwork. It’s one big piece.”

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘Prelude’
02. ‘Still Alive’
03. ‘Crystal Sphere’
04. ‘Bright Lights’
05. ‘Neverending Fire’
06. ‘Interlude’
07. ‘Under Ice’
08. ‘One Question’
09. ‘Tomorrow Never Comes (Dyatlov Pass)’
10. ‘Tears Of Arizona’
11. ‘Dream Warriors’ (Dokken cover) *
12. ‘Alone’ (I-Ten cover) **

Crystal Viper’s line-up was as follows:

On October 25th, 2019, following the recording of Tales Of Fire And Ice, Crystal Viper announced that they had parted ways with drummer Tomasz “Golem” Danczak.
