DESERT Release Music Video For ‘Son Of A Star’ Track

Tel Aviv, Israel-based power metal group Desert have released a music video for the track ‘Son Of A Star’. The storyline of the video and the song itself is based on the Shimon Bar Kochva’s rebellion against the Roman Empire in 132-135 CE at the ancient Judea area and describes it’s tragic fall in the striving for freedom of the Jewish state. Filming took place at Ha-Makhtesh Ha-Katan, a geological erosional landform of Israel’s Negev desert. Directed by Vadim Mechona, the clip can be viewed below.
Desert issued second full-length studio album Never Regret on March 30th, 2015 through Raven Music.
The outing was recorded, mixed, and mastered at A.G. Studio in Tel Aviv with producer Alex Zvulun.
Never Regret features guest contributions from Ralf Scheepers (vocals, Primal Fear / ex-Gamma Ray), Infy Snow (vocals), Alex Zvulun (lead guitar, The Fading), and Merry Ann Genin (violin).
Jobert Mello designed Never Regret’s cover artwork.
