DORO Releases 13th Studio Album ‘Forever Warriors, Forever United’
August 17th, 2018

Düsseldorf, Germany-based metal vocalist Doro Pesch issued her 13th full-length studio album Forever Warriors, Forever United on August 17th, 2018 through Nuclear Blast Records. The two-disc offering contains 19 regular tracks and six bonus songs.

The track ‘All For Metal’ features guest vocal contributions from Mille Petrozza (Kreator), Johan Hegg (Amon Amarth), Chuck Billy (Testament), the late Warrel Dane (Sanctuary / Nevermore), Jeff Waters (Annihilator), Ross The Boss (ex-Manowar), Rock‘n’Rolf (Running Wild), Tommy Bolan (ex-Warlock), Andy Brings (ex-Sodom / ex-Powergod) and members of Sabaton and The Ultimate Doro Clan. Amon Amarth frontman Johan Hegg also appears on the song ‘If I Can’t Have You – No One Will’, while guitarist Doug Aldrich (Dead Dasies / ex-Whitesnake / ex-Dio) is featured on the cut ‘Heartbroken’.

Forever Warriors, Forever United also includes a song dedicated to late Motörhead frontman Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, entitled ‘Living Life To The Fullest’.

Cover artwork was once again created by Geoffrey Gillespie.

“The cover and the title form a perfect unit, just as it should be,” said Doro. “It all fits perfectly in line with the songs, which also deal with some political themes.

“There are some big anthems on the album, countless heavy songs, as well as heart-warming melodies! The album is supposed to give you power and thus contains a lot of energy!”

Inaugural single ‘All For Metal’ was issued on June 8th, 2018 and made available on limited edition seven-inch silver vinyl and picture disc, backed with the track ‘If I Can’t Have You – No One Will’. The song was also released digitally.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘All For Metal’, ‘If I Can’t Have You – No One Will’, ‘It Cuts So Deep’ and ‘Freunde Fürs Leben’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song ‘Lift Me Up’. All five clips can be viewed below.

Twelfth studio record Raise Your Fist was released in October 2012.
