DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL Add 36 Groups To 2016 Bill

The 14th annual edition of Download Festival has added the following 36 groups to its bill; Alien Ant Farm, Amon Amarth, Anti-Flag, Ashestoangels, As Lions, Black Peaks, Bury Tomorrow, Cane Hill, Danko Jones, Electric Wizard, Escape The Fate, Good Tiger, Grand Magus, Graveyard, Heck, Hill Valley High, Jane’s Addiction, Kadavar, The Kenneths, The King Is Blind, Monster Truck, Muncie Girls, Municipal Waste, NOFX, One OK Rock, Palisades, Periphery, Reigning Days, Shvpes, Sixx:A.M., Slaves (US), Strange Bones, Turbowolf, Wage War, Whiskey Myers and Zoax.
The event takes place between June 10th-12th, 2016 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England.
For 2016 only, the Main Stage has been renamed The Lemmy Stage in tribute to late Motörhead frontman Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister, who succumbed to cancer on December 28th, 2015 – four days following his 70th birthday. Prior to the man’s passing, Motörhead were originally scheduled to perform at the 2016 edition of Download. A tribute during Motörhead’s originally scheduled timeslot is being planned.
