Former RAGE Guitarist Victor Smolski Forms ALMANAC

Guitarist Victor Smolski – formerly of Bochum, Germany-based metal group Rage – formed Almanac, revealing this development on April 2nd, 2015. Almanac is a neo-classical, orchestral metal endeavour, a project that is a continuation of Rage side project Lingua Mortis Orchestra. Lingua Mortis Orchestra issued debut full-length studio album LMO in August 2013.
Lingua Mortis Orchestra alumni Jeannette Marchewka and Dana Harnge (both female singers), as well as the Orquestra Barcelona Filharmonia, are part of Almanac. And as well, also a part of Almanac are male vocalists Andy B. Franck (Brainstorm) and David Readman (Pink Cream 69).
A bass player and drummer will be announced at a later date, with plans being underway to enter the studio later in 2015 to record an Almanac debut.
On February 4th, 2015, Rage disbanded its then line-up, co-founder, vocalist and bassist Peavy Wagner opting to subsequently form a new line-up.
