GOAT SEMEN Release Debut Album ‘Ego Svm Satana’

Peruvian death / black metal group Goat Semen issued debut full-length album Ego Svm Satana on February 24th, 2015 in North and South America through Hells Headbangers Records. European release occurred via Kvlt Records.

Writing, arranging, and recording took more than a decade in all. All of Ego Svm Satana’s tracks were recording in June 2012. Early mixes were undertaken by guitarist Beleth, but mixing was slow given the fact the mixes were undertaken at almost 4,000 metres high on the highlands of Peru, and so the band couldn’t get together enough time to properly mix the effort. Engineer Arthur Rizk contacted Goat Semen in early 2014, offering to mix the outing at a studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mixing took roughly six weeks in all.
