HELLOWEEN Release ‘Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part 1’
May 1987
German power metal group Helloween issued sophomore album Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part 1 in May 1987. The outing was cut between November 1986-January 1987 at Horus Sound Studio in Hanover, Germany. Tommy Newton produced and engineered, with Tommy Hansen co-producing, mixing, and engineering. Edda and Uwe Karczewski designed the front cover artwork from a concept devised by guitarist Kai Hansen. Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part 1 was the first of four Helloween studio albums to feature vocalist Michael Kiske. Released through Noise Records, the track listing was as follows;

Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part 1 peaked at position 104 on the Billboard 200 album charts in North America, this happening in the chart week beginning September 5th, 1987.
Debut studio record Walls Of Jericho was issued in October 1985.
