KORPIKLAANI Release Ninth Studio Album ‘Noita’

Lahti, Finland-based folk metal group Korpiklaani issued ninth full-length studio album Noita on May 1st, 2015 in Europe (excluding the United Kingdom) through Nuclear Blast Records. The label scheduled UK release for the 4th, with North American release taking place on the 5th.
The outing was cut at Petrax Studio, with Aksu Hanttu handling production, recording and mixing duties once again. Cover artwork responsibilities fell to Jan Yrlund.
Noita was the first Korpiklaani platter to feature accordion player Sami Perttula, who is credited with having taken a very active role in the folk arrangements alongside violinist Tuomas Rounakari.

Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Pilli On Pajusta Tehty’ and ‘Ämmänhauta’, and an animated parody music video was created for the track ‘A Man With A Plan’, which can all be viewed below. In addition, an official lyric video was released for the song ‘Lempo’.
Eighth studio record Manala was released in August 2012.
