French death metal group Mercyless issued sixth full-length studio album Pathetic Divinity on October 7th, 2016 through Kaotoxin Records.

Pathetic Divinity was mixed by Philippe Reinhalter at the Psykron Studio in Verchain-Maugré, France. Mastering duties fell to Frédéric Motte at Conkrete Studio in Bordeaux, France.
Contributing guest guitar solos on the album are Gord Olson (Demisery / Ye Goat-Herd Gods), Stéphane Viard (ex-Mercyless) and Jérôme Point-Canovas (Angher / ex-No Return).
