METALLICA: Audio Snippet Of New Track Featured In Holiday Video

San Francisco, California-based metal group Metallica have uploaded a holiday video greeting from vocalist / guitarist James Hetfield. The video can be accessed at the following location, although to watch the clip readers will have to register for Metallica’s fan club, which is free. Lasting 33 seconds, the video includes a short snippet of Hetfield in the studio at the band’s San Rafael, California headquarters, seemingly playing back a new Metallica track.
Metallica is currently in the process of recording material for its tenth full-length studio album.
Ninth studio record Death Magnetic was released in September 2008.
