MEZZROW Premiere ‘What Is Dead May Never Die’ Music Video
April 21st, 2023

Swedish thrash metal band Mezzrow have filmed a music video for the track ‘What Is Dead May Never Die’. Directed by Otto Närhi, the clip can be viewed below.

Regarding the song, the band stated: “The most catchy one on the record and sometimes quite melodic for being a thrash metal song. The heavier part, halfway through, is definitely one of the best parts of the whole album! Lyrically inspired by Game Of Thrones / Melisandre and the religion of R’hllor.”

Mezzrow issued second full-length studio album Summon Thy Demons on April 17th, 2023 through Fireflash Records, a subsidiary of Atomic Fire Records.

Bassist Conny Welén commented: “Of course we have a bit of a new and updated sound, more mature and dark, but it’s still old school thrash metal from the Bay Area that lays the foundation. We refuse to downtune the guitars and you can definitely hear what Uffe sings! Some of the songs are actually a bit melodic, but in a thrashy kind of way. So don’t worry, we don’t do any ballads.”

Summon Thy Demons was produced by band members Conny Welén, Ronnie Björnström and Magnus Söderman. Björnström was also responsible for mixing and mastering duties.

Cover artwork was designed by Pär Olofsson.

The track listing is as follows:

01. ‘King Of The Infinite Void’

06. ‘Beneath The Sea Of Silence’
07. ‘On Earth As In Hell’
