MOONLIGHT HAZE Release New Music Video For ‘Kintsugi’ Track

Italian symphonic power metal band Moonlight Haze have filmed a music video for the track ‘Kintsugi’, which can be viewed below.
Speaking about the song, vocalist and lyricist Chiara Tricarico said: “‘Kintsugi’ is about the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling cracks with precious metals. We too can transform all ‘cracks’ – which represent both our weaknesses and the difficult times we sometimes are forced to face – into something that makes us stronger and more unique, without necessarily having to show fake perfection to the rest of the world. We are all human beings and, as such, we are not infallible.”
Moonlight Haze issued third full-length studio album Animus on March 18th, 2022 through Scarlet Records (excluding Japan). Japanese release took place on the same day via Ward Records.
“This record represents a huge step up for Moonlight Haze’s songwriting and sound,” commented frontwoman Chiara Tricarico. “It got each of us excited since the very first melodies and lines that had been written. It’s an introspective work, but at the same time it looks at the world outside – willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth. Hence the title, ‘Animus’, a Latin word that has different meanings: vital force, conscience, soul, mind and courage as well.”
Animus was recorded by Moonlight Haze, and mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio.
Cover artwork was designed by Beatrice Demori.
