MORBID ANGEL Sign Album Contract With UDR Music

Tampa, Florida-based death metal group Morbid Angel have signed an album contract with UDR Music for all territories exclusively outside of Japan, revealing this development on August 3rd, 2016.
Vocalist / bassist Steve Tucker issued the following statement: “We are extremely excited to be in this partnership with UDR. We are looking forward to making a great album and destroying the stage at many shows. UDR is a great label that supports the bands that they believe in, and we are proud to be one of those bands! Looking forward to a successful partnership.”
A ninth full-length studio album is slated for 2017 issue, and will mark the first Morbid Angel outing to feature Tucker since September 2003’s Heretic. Tucker’s re-entry into Morbid Angel’s ranks was confirmed on June 15th, 2015, signalling the departure of David Vincent. The exit of drummer Tim Yeung was disclosed that same day.

Steve Tucker (vocals and bass)
Trey Azagthoth (guitars)
Eighth studio record Illud Divinum Insanus was released in June 2011.
