MYSTIC PROPHECY Release Covers Album ‘Monuments Uncovered’

German heavy metal group Mystic Prophecy issued covers album Monuments Uncovered on January 12th, 2018 through Massacre Records.
Vocalist Roberto Dimitri Liapakis commented: “This album is like a love letter to the music that accompanied so many of us, myself included, in the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s — and believe me, you have not heard the songs like this before! I’m also really excited to show you a new and different side of Mystic Prophecy!”
The outing was produced by vocalist Robert Dimitri Liapakis and Mystic Prophecy at the Prophecy Studios, with mixing and mastering by Henrik Udd at Henrik Udd Recording Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Cover artwork duties fell to Dušan Markovic.

Monuments Uncovered was made available as a limited edition digipak CD with an exclusive bonus track as well as limited vinyl LP.
Directed by Kriss Jakob of AMP Aurora Motion Pictures, a music video was filmed for the band’s cover of The Supremes track ‘You Keep Me Hangin’ On’, while an animated music video was created for their rendition of the Mike Oldfield song ‘Shadow On The Wall’. In addition, an official lyric video was released for Mystic Prophecy’s cover rendition of Tokyo’s namesake track ‘Toyko’. All three clips can be viewed below.
Ninth studio record War Brigade was released in March 2016 via Massacre Records.
