PEARL JAM Sign Worldwide Publishing Contract With Universal Music Publishing Group

Seattle, Washington-based rock group have signed an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group, revealing this development on February 23rd, 2016.
UMPG chairman / CEO Jody Gerson issued the following statement: “It’s been almost 25 years since Pearl Jam busted the door open of the ‘club’ that hosts a very exclusive group of artists. All they have done throughout their career is inspire and influence their fans throughout the world with incredible songs and a multitude of worthy causes. We are delighted that they have entrusted us with their amazing catalog and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their evolving career that will endure for decades to come.”
Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis shared the following words, meanwhile: “I’m thrilled to finally have a great partner that I can entrust with the legacy of the Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder catalogues. I’m excited for what lies ahead with UMPG.”
Tenth studio record Lightning Bolt was released in October 2013.
