Alexandria, Virginia-born grindcore group Pig Destroyer issued sixth full-length studio album Head Cage on September 7th, 2018 through Relapse Records.

Head Cage was recorded and produced by guitarist Scott Hull at the band’s own Visceral Sound Studios in Bethesda, Maryland. Mixing and mastering was handled by Will Putney. Head Cage includes guest vocal appearances by Agoraphobic Nosebleed’s Richard Johnson and Kat Katz, as well as Full Of Hell’s Dylan Walker.

Cover artwork duties fell to Mark McCoy.

Fifth studio record Book Burner was released in October 2012 via Relapse.
