Louisville, Kentucky-based metal group Savage Master issue seven-inch vinyl single ‘Black Hooves’ on September 11th, 2015 through High Roller Records. Limited to 1000 copies, the track listing is as follows;
01. ‘Black Hooves’
02. ‘Swords And Tequila’
While ‘Black Hooves’ is a fresh recording, ‘Swords And Tequila’ is a cover version. Originally recorded by Riot, that band’s original version was included on February 1981 outing Fire Down Under. Savage Master’s rendition originally appeared on the Thunder And Steel Down Under – A Tribute To Riot compilation, released in April 2015 via Skol Records.
Cover artwork duties for ‘Black Hooves’’ seven-inch vinyl single fell to Chris Moyen, who previously designed the cover artwork for October 2014 debut full-length studio album Mask Of The Devil – also released through Skol Records.
