Metal vocalist Sebastian Bach issues autobiography 18 And Life On Skid Row on June 28th, 2016 through Dey Street Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
The tome clocks in at 288 pages, recounting his childhood when he moved from Freeport, Bahamas to California and then to Canada. At the age of eight, he discovered he was able to sing. Fronting Skid Row, Bach lent vocals to the full-lengths Skid Row (1989), Slave To The Grind (1991), and Subhuman Race (1995), the first of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Better known tracks by the ensemble include ‘I Remember You’, ‘Youth Gone Wild’ and ‘18 And Life’, the singer subsequently embarking on a solo career. Throughout his career, Bach has toured with the likes of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden, Pantera, Nine Inch Nails, and Guns N’ Roses.
On Broadway, Bach starred in the musicals Jekyll & Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Fifth solo studio record Give ’Em Hell was released in April 2014.
