SHEAR Release Second Studio Album ‘Katharsis’

Helsinki, Finland-based metal / rock group Shear issued second full-length studio album Katharsis on March 24th, 2014 in Europe through Lifeforce Records. The label also scheduled North American release for April 1st.
The outing was cut between April and October 2013 at Sound Supreme Studio and 5by5 Studio, where the effort was also mixed. Mastering duties were handled by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The record featured a guest appearance by Stratovarius keyboardist Jens Johansson on the composition ‘Whispers Follow You’. Katharsis’ cover artwork was designed by Textures bassist Remko Tielemans.
