TAILGUNNER Premiere ‘New Horizons’ Music Video

English heavy metal band Tailgunner have filmed a music video for the track ‘New Horizons’, which can be viewed below.
Tailgunner issued debut full-length studio album Guns For Hire on July 14th, 2023 through Fireflash Records.
“Our debut album Guns For Hire is the result of not only the time we have spent together as a band, but a decade of blood, sweat, tears, beers, fights ‘n’ endless nights – all lit by a burning love for heavy metal,” Tailgunner commented.
“Now, Children of the Night, Marauders of Earth ‘N’ Hells Vagabonds, on July 14th we invite you to live it with us, told by the tale of these ten songs.
“Heavy metal is the undying beast, it can not be killed, it can not be stopped, it soldiers on no matter what.
“Our friend the Warhead, brought to life on our debut album by the incredible Sadist Art Design in a cocktail of 50s horror ‘n’ 80s B-movie posters, is the personification of this music we are so proud to carry the torch for. Are you ready to carry it with us?”
Recording Guns For Hire, Tailgunner moved themselves and all the equipment into an old Victorian chapel from the 1800s, in the dead of winter in early 2021, surrounded by a graveyard. “We recorded mostly in the middle of the night, upon the altar, using only candles for lighting,” said bassist Thomas Hewson.
Mixing and mastering was handled by Olof Wikstrand of Enforcer. “I first met Olof at an Enforcer show back in 2019,” remembered Hewson. “I knew he worked as an engineer, both on Enforcer, and other records. I chatted to him about working on something, even though I didn’t yet have a band! It was really important to me to work with Olof on the debut album. He’s a bit like the godfather of this scene that has emerged over the last 10-15 years, and is extremely knowledgeable in heavy metal. Also, the sound of Enforcer records, particularly From Beyond (2015) and Live By Fire II (2021) is metal mastery!”

Four-track EP Crashdive was independently released in June 2022, and subsequently reissued in December of that year with an additional track via Fireflash Records.
