TAILGUNNER Sign Album Contract With Fireflash Records

English heavy metal band Tailgunner have signed an album contract with Fireflash Records, a subsidiary of Atomic Fire Records, revealing this development on October 18th, 2022.
Tailgunner issued the following statement: “We are proud and thrilled to share the news with you that we have signed a deal with Fireflash Records – a brand new label launched this autumn that will be a subsidiary to Atomic Fire Records (Helloween, Opeth, Meshuggah, U.D.O, Michael Schenker, The 69 Eyes and many more).”
Markus Wosgien, owner and founder of Fireflash Records, added: “When I heard ‘Shadows Of War’ on Spotify, I fell in love immediately. What a hymn! This is heavy metal the way I love it: powerful, fresh, melodic, raw and catchy. Along with Power Paladin, they are the hottest and best metal newcomer act in my opinion, with the same spirit that I found on the early albums of my teenager faves like HammerFall, Blind Guardian and Helloween, or younger faves like Enforcer and Skull Fist. Let’s say, I was addicted from day one, adding their singles to our playlists and ordering their first shirt. Right after, we got in touch, talking about a possible collaboration and were on the same level from the beginning on. The first result now is the five-track MCD Crashdive in a limited digipak edition of 500 copies worldwide – for all the metal maniacs, collectors and treasure hunters out there. Tailgunner will go their way, this is the beginning of something big.”

The band concluded: “In just seven months we have gone from launching this band, embarking on two UK headline tours, playing multiple sold out shows, all leading to this moment – a killer step forward, and an honour to work closely alongside such experience in heavy metal at this early stage of our career. After talking extensively on our plans together for the next step of the band, we are very excited and can’t wait to get started! As Markus states, Fireflash will now re-release our debut EP Crashdive including our latest single ‘White Death’, in digipak form including lyric and photo booklet, strictly limited to 500 copies.”
Five-track mini-CD Crashdive was mixed and mastered by Olof Wikstrand of Enforcer, and was originally independently released in June 2022 and comprised four tracks at that time. A release date for the re-release is due to be announced.
