THE HEARD Sign Album Contract With Despotz Records

Stockholm, Sweden-based rock group The Heard have signed an album contract with Despotz Records, revealing this development on June 4th, 2018.
The Heard commented: “We look forward to finally present our music, vision and magical world to you. Therefore we’ve attached our guitar strings and laid our heavy tunes in the hands of Swedish label Despotz records. Based on experience we are convinced that Despotz will make that happen, and we look forward to a productive collaboration.”
Anna Rolander of Despotz added: “After working with some of the members of The Heard before with Crucified Barbara, we’ve had our eyes on this project since the first rumours about a new band came out. Now we’re happy to finally announce that we’ll be working together with The Heard and their inspiring concept. Together we’ll work with The Heard through Despotz international distribution and PR network globally.”
The Heard’s line-up is as follows;

Klara ‘Force’ Rönnqvist Fors (guitars, ex-Crucified Barbara)
Jonas ‘Skinny Disco’ Kangur (lead guitars, Deathstars)
Ida ‘Evileye’ Stenbacka (bass, ex-Crucified Barbara)
Jannicke ‘Nikki Wicked’ Lindström (drums, ex-Crucified Barbara)
The Heard was formed following the disbandment of Crucified Barbara, three of its bandmates wishing to keep playing music together. The band are currently in the studio, recording material.
First single ‘White Lightning’ and second single ‘Sirens’ were digitally released in December 2017 and March 2018 respectively, both via GMR Music.
