TRICK OR TREAT Release Sixth Studio Album ‘The Legend Of The XII Saints’
April 24th, 2020

Modena, Italy-based power metal band Trick Or Treat issued sixth full-length studio album The Legend Of The XII Saints on April 24th, 2020 through Scarlet Records.

The Legend Of The XII Saints is a concept album freely inspired by the anime Saint Seya, created in 1985 by Masami Kurumada, and more precisely on The Legend of the 12 Gold Saints of the Zodiac saga. The outing features 12 main compositions, one for every zodiac sign, with each track a monographic work that delves into the personality of the knights and the compelling plot that binds all the characters to the goddess Athena.

The song ‘Gemini: Another Dimension’ features guest vocals from Beast In Black singer Yannis Papadopoulos.

The Legend Of The XII Saints was produced by Eddy Cavazza and Trick Or Treat. Cavazza was also responsible for mixing and mastering duties.

Cover artwork was once again created by vocalist Alessandro Conti.

A music video was filmed for the track ‘Aries: Stardust Revolution’. Directed by Domenico Guidetti, the clip can be viewed below.

The band commented: “The new video for ‘Aries: Stardust Revolution’ is finally available. It was made with the support of the band’s fanbase and with the help of some of the best known cosplayers in the country, who have recreated the epic battle of the golden knights to save the goddess Athena…

“As for the videos of ‘Rabbits’ Hill’ and ‘Great Escape’, Domenico Guidetti directed it and did a wonderful job. For the first time we make an extensive use of special effects! Be ready to burn your cosmo with ‘Aries: Stardust Revolution’.”

Created by Stefano Mastronicola, official lyric videos were released for the songs ‘Aries: Stardust Revolution’, ‘Taurus: Great Horn’, ‘Gemini: Another Dimension’, ‘Cancer: Underworld Wave’, ‘Leo: Lightning Plasma’, ‘Virgo: Tenbu Horin’, ‘Libra: One Hundred Dragon Force’, ‘Scorpio: Scarlet Needle’, ‘Sagittarius: Golden Arrow’, ‘Capricorn: Excalibur’, ‘Aquarius: Diamond Dust’ and ‘Pisces: Bloody Rose’. All 12 clips can also be viewed below.
