ULI JON ROTH Et Al Headline Extreme Cream Event

On January 24th, 2014 at Malone’s in Santa Ana, California, numerous musicians gathered together for an event entitled Extreme Cream: An All Star Dedication To The Original Supergroup. As well as paying homage to 60s power trio Cream, the event celebrated others in the field of rock and metal.

Performers included;

* Uli Jon Roth, who performed a set of Cream tracks. Performing alongside Roth was Don Dokken (Dokken), Kofi Baker and Elliott Dean Rubinson.

* Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake / ex-Dio), who performed alongside Matt Starr (Ace Frehley drummer) and bassist Michael Devin (Whitesnake).

* Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson / Halford)

* Michael Angelo Batio, whose billed performance was entitled History Of Rock Guitar.

* Craig Goldy (Dio), Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath / ex-Dio) and Mark Boals (ex-Yngwie J. Malmsteen / ex-Royal Hunt), whose set was comprised of material written by Black Sabbath, Dio and Rainbow.

Concluding the event was a performance honouring Jimi Hendrix.
