United Kingdom-based death metal group Vallenfyre have issued behind-the-scenes footage from the making of their latest music video for the track ‘The Merciless Tide’. Both the footage and official video clip can be viewed below.
Frontman Greg Mackintosh commented: “‘The Merciless Tide’ is about the relentless march of time and also wishing you could be in someone else’s shoes to save them suffering. In the video, we see a man going through immense suffering over a long period of time, never being able to grasp the things he craves, whilst faceless tormentors observe in indifference. This is incredibly grim, so enjoy.”
Vallenfyre issued third full-length studio album Fear Those Who Fear Him on June 2nd, 2017 through Century Media Records.
Fear Those Who Fear Him was released as a gatefold LP and CD on limited coloured and regular black 180-gram vinyl, as a special edition digipak (international version), jewelcase CD (Canada, USA and Mexico only), and digitally.
The outing was produced by Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts, once again, with mastering being handled by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege Mastering in Portland, Oregon. Cover artwork duties fell to Hal Rotter.
