VARATHRON Release Sixth Studio Album ‘Patriarchs Of Evil’

Ioánnina, Greece-based black metal group Varathron issued sixth full-length studio album Patriarchs Of Evil on April 27th, 2018 through Agonia Records.

Patriarchs Of Evil was recorded, mixed and mastered over the course of 2017 by guitarist Achilleas Kalantzis (aka Achilleas C.) at Crown Audio Conspiracies in Ioánnina, Greece, except for drums which were recorded at Infinite Loop Music Studio – also based in Ioánnina. Both studios are based in Varathron’s hometown of Ioánnina, Greece.

Patriarchs Of Evil was released in the following formats; digipak CD with slipcase and 16 pages booklet, black gatefold LP, picture disc gatefold LP (with insert, patch and poster, limited to 200 hand-numbered copies), and yellow with black splatter gatefold LP (with insert, patch and poster, limited to 125 hand-numbered copies).
Music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Into The Absurd’ and ‘Remnants Of The Dark Testament’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song ‘Luciferian Mystical Awakening’. All three clips can also be viewed below.
Fifth studio record Untrodden Corridors Of Hades was released in November 2014 via Agonia Records.
