VICIOUS RUMORS Release 12th Studio Album ‘Concussion Protocol’

San Francisco, California-based heavy metal band Vicious Rumors issued 12th full-length studio album Concussion Protocol in Europe and North America on August 26th, 2016 through Steamhammer / SPV. The Japanese release was scheduled for release on August 24th and featured a bonus track ‘Death Bed Razor’.
The outing was produced by Vicious Rumors guitarist Geoff Thorpe and longtime co-producer and engineer Juan Urteaga at Trident Studios in Pacheco, California.
Thorpe commented: “The album is relentless and crushing in true, classic Vicious Rumors style but with many twists and turns. Believe me, you’re in for a treat, VRazors!!! If you’ve ever been a fan of Vicious Rumors, [Black] Sabbath, [Judas] Priest or [Iron] Maiden and a little bay area style thrash thrown in for good measure, then this album is definitely for you!!! Everything you love about Vicious Rumors is present throughout the whole album!!!”

Eleventh studio record Electric Punishment was released in April 2013.
