VOLTUMNA Launch Music Video For New Track ‘La Furia Dei Ciclopi’

Lazio, Italy-based black / death metal band Voltumna have filmed a music video for the track ‘La Furia Dei Ciclopi’, which can be viewed below.
Speaking about the song, Voltumna mastermind Haruspex said: “‘La Furia Dei Ciclopi’ is probably the peak of the entire album. An outburst at very high speeds, direct and neckbreaker riffs with Italian lyrics. It’s about one of the events that, according to mythology, started our ancestry and in which the Cyclops were the fundamental key. A universal metaphor that also reflects the concept of the double spiral that we are experiencing today… Perhaps we should defeat our Titans chasers, too!”
Voltumna issue fourth full-length studio album Ciclope on December 13th, 2019 through Extreme Metal Music.
Drummer Augur Veii commented: “Ciclope will be heavy as a Giant’s step, atmospheric as the mist and evoking as a dark ritual chorus; all mixed like the band has already experienced in the past. It is our most expressive and introspective work. Every song is a step into the deep abyss of the past, into the unknown, where reality and mythic visions are just one. Where did we come from? And where will we arrive? This is the double spiral and the Etruscans well knew what we are approaching.”
